Clarksville Tennessee is a riverfront city home to Austin Peay State University. Business districts have also built up in Clarksville along Wilma Rudolph Blvd., Madison Street and Fort Campbell Blvd. Fort Campbell, home of the 101st Airborne, straddles the Tennessee / Kentucky state line.
The Clarksville downtown district has unique shops, resturants and the Roxy Regional Theatre, which offers year-round stage productions, and an acting program. The Dunbar Cave State Park has year-round events including cave tours and family-oriented activities.
McGregor Park, which is on the Cumberland River, is host to the annual Christmas on the Cumberland holiday light show. There are also 36 other city parks across the Clarksville community. |
