ArtLink becomes Clarksville-Montgomery County Green Certified
Montgomery County, TN – The Clarksville-Montgomery County Green Certification Program held a green ribbon cutting on Thursday, August 5th to celebrate ArtLink joining the Program. ArtLink is the 138th organization to become Green Certified.
ArtLink is a local nonprofit that works to unite the community by igniting passion and inspiring creativity. The studio is located on Strawberry Alley and offers a wide range of workshops, such as candle making, macramé, and painting, as well as classes, like mom-and tot time and dance fitness.
Austin Peay State University alumna’s books help children understand difficult topics
Clarksville, TN – Children’s mental health is underserved. That’s part of the reason why Kacy Chambers, an Austin Peay State University (APSU) alumna of Interdisciplinary Studies K-8, wrote two self-help books and two journals during the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation announces Generation Radio to headline 2021 Riverfest
Band of all-stars will rock the Riverfest main stage at McGregor Park
Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Park and Recreation Department today announced that Generation Radio, a supergroup featuring legendary musicians from Rascal Flatts, Journey and Chicago, will be the featured act at the 33rd annual Riverfest celebration at McGregor Park.
This year’s festival, back after a pandemic-related hiatus in 2020, will be September 9th-11th.
