Magic at the Museum returns December 17th
Clarksville, TN – Magic at the Museum returns just in time for Christmas to the Customs House Museum. Sponsored by Better Homes and Garden Real Estate, children of all ages will be entertained with balloon tricks, face painting and an incredible stage show featuring magician Russ Nowack.
The fun begins at 2:00pm when the Customs House opens its doors for a free tour of the museum, while children get their faces painted and watch balloon artists shape their favorite balloon character.

Ceremony to honor Joel Plummer planned
Montgomery County, TN – State Senator Tim Barnes has announced that Montgomery County officials will hold an unveiling ceremony for the Joel Plummer Memorial highway on Friday, November 4th, commemorating the life of a public servant who made Montgomery County his home and his life.
Plummer was born in Montromery County where he lived his entire life. After serving in the U.S Navy during the Korean War, he returned home and was appointed deputy sheriff at the age of 22. City of Clarksville announces Fall Debris Clean Up 2011
Clarksville, TN – Mayor Kim McMillan has announced that the city of Clarksville Street Department will begin picking up yard debris, leaves and limbs, November 1st-November 27th, 2011.

Clarksville City Councilman appointed by Governor Haslam
Nashville, TN – A Clarksville city councilman has been appointed to a state board by Governor Bill Haslam. It was announced today that Ward 1 councilman Nick Steward has been appointed to The Tennessee Pest Control and Licensing and Advisory Board.
This board meets to consider special licenses for individuals who meet minimum qualifications for certain categories of pesticide application. Steward is expected to take the oath of office November 1st in a ceremony at the Clarksville Board of Realtors. “Laying Low” to benefit Custom’s House Museum

“Wine Around the World” to benefit local Red Cross
Clarksville, TN – “Wine around the World” is coming to Clarksville, Saturday November 12th at the Water Street Events Center. This signature event will be one of a kind for Clarksville, as sponsors will be able to sample wine’s from all over the world, matched with foods paired perfectly with your selections.
“Wine around the World” will benefit the local chapter of the American Red Cross, continuing it’s mission to provide relief to victims of disasters and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies.
