Cumberland Winds Jazz Project presents 1940s Radio Days at the Roxy Regional Theatre on November 18th and 19th
Clarksville, TN – With a nod to yesteryear, the Cumberland Winds Jazz Project is teaming with Clarksville’s oldest professional live theatre this fall to recreate an old-time radio show from the 1940s.
Traditional big band music will combine with radio skits, vintage advertisements, and maybe a war newsflash or two at the “Cumberland Winds Jazz Project: 1940s Radio Days” at the Roxy Regional Theatre on Friday, November 18th, and Saturday, November 19th, at 7:00pm.

Two-time Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Lynn Nottage’s fast-paced, sly satire draws upon the screwball comedy films of the 1930s to take a funny and irreverent look at racial stereotypes in Hollywood.
Fright on Franklin returns to Downtown Clarksville
Clarksville, TN – Join us for an afternoon of spooky fun at The City of Clarksville’s annual Fright on Franklin presented by Altra Federal Credit Union, which will return to Downtown Clarksville on October 29th, 2022 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm.

Clarksville, TN – The sounds of marches, polkas, waltzes, and German music typical of the Oktoberfest season will fill the hall of Clarksville’s oldest professional theatre for one evening this autumn.
The Cumberland Winds German Band presents a special Oktoberfest concert in the intimate setting of the Roxy Regional Theatre on Wednesday, October 19th, at 7:00pm.
Clarksville’s Downtown Market has something for everyone
Clarksville, TN – There are just two days of the Clarksville Downtown Market left for this year. Make sure to stop by this Saturday, September 24th, or next Saturday, October 1st, and check out what all the vendors have to offer.
The Clarksville Downtown Market is Saturday from 8:00am until 12:00pm from now until October 1st. It provides a place for local farmers, artists, crafters, and more a place to display and sell their goods in one location.
This past Saturday, the Clarksville Downtown Market had 84 vendors. Some of the items at the market are fresh vegetables, soaps, baked goods, skin care products, herbs, handcrafted items, and a lot more.
Clarksville’s Welcome Home Veterans Parade honors those that served
Clarksville, TN – Hundreds gathered around the streets of Downtown Clarksville Saturday for the 7th Annual Welcome Home Veterans Parade. The parade is part of the Welcome Home Veterans Celebration. Veterans from all around attended and took part in the parade.
The parade began at 10:00am.
“I am so glad to see so many people come out to the Welcome Home Veterans Parade to honor our veterans today. We have a lot of units this year,” said Theresa Harrington, Executive Director of Visit Clarksville. “We are just glad our veterans are home and we like to welcome them to Clarksville.”
