CDE Lightband’s F2CON gaming tournament was a big hit with everyone
Clarksville, TN – On Friday and Saturday, September 9th and 10th, F2CON, powered by CDE Lightband, was held at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center at Liberty Park.
F2CON is a gaming tournament hosted here in Clarksville. For just $5.00, you were able to enter and play at F2CON. This year was the first time the event has been held since the pandemic.
F2CON isn’t just an event for the youth to come out and play but a way for them to win prizes. Prizes for the participants ranged from trophies to cash prizes. Fifty dollars allowed players to enter the tournaments and five dollars gained access to free play.

Everyone had a Blast at Clarksville’s Riverfest Friday night
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville’s 2022 Riverfest Festival kicked off on Friday with music, fun, food, and craft vendors taking over McGregor Park and a mile-long stretch of Riverside Drive along the banks of the Cumberland River.
The popular Riverfest Family Zone drew a crowd early, and thanks to sponsorship by Hankook Tire, there is no charge for access to the area this year. Inside, families found a variety of booths offering games and prizes, information and activities, and arts and crafts by Artlink.

16th annual Frolic on Franklin to be held Saturday, September 17th
Clarksville, TN – Historic Downtown Clarksville is gearing up for the 16th annual Frolic on Franklin: A Celebration of the Arts on Saturday, September 17th, from 8:30am to 3:30pm.
Coordinated by the Roxy Regional Theatre, this free event will showcase the works of over two dozen artists, staged entertainment and art demonstrations — all along the 100 block of Franklin Street.
Bikers Who Care annual Toy Run set for Saturday, September 17th
Clarksville, TN – Thousands of toys will be collected by Bikers Who Care (BWC) at this year’s Leslie W. Watson Memorial Toy Run & Benefit Party, a tradition of giving, now in its 41st year.
BWC announced that this year’s Toy Run will return to its pre-pandemic glory with a full weekend of events, September 16th – 18th, accompanying the nationally-known Saturday afternoon ride from Clarksville Speedway to Governor’s Square Mall, during which toys are delivered and collected, and eventually provided to families in need during the Christmas season.
Clarksville’s Riverfest returns September 9th-10th
Clarksville, TN – The 33rd annual Riverfest Festival put on by the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department takes place Friday, September 9th from 5:00pm until 11:00pm and Saturday, September 10th from 11:00am to 11:00pm.
Riverfest takes place along the banks of the Cumberland River at McGregor Park.
Come out and celebrate the cultural diversity of Clarksville through music, local eats, drinks, shopping, and recreational activities for the entire family.
Beatles vs. Stones rocks Downtown @ Sundown
Clarksville, TN – This past Friday at Downtown @ Sundown was an experience of a lifetime. The Beatles vs. Stones greatest hits was an amazing performance.
Only one thing could make this night even better. Which is… finding out “which band is better!”
The Beatles versus The Rolling Stones played the greatest hits from “Can’t Buy me love” to “Time Is On My Side” keeping the crowd cheering and wanting more!

Montgomery County, TN – This Friday, September 2nd, 2022, Downtown @ Sundown will feature Beatles vs Stones! Starting at 7:00pm, the two greatest rock n’ roll bands of all time will face off in a once-in-a-lifetime show!
They will engage in a musical “showdown” of hit songs from the 60’s like ‘Satisfaction’ ‘Paint It, Black’ and ‘Here Comes the Sun.’ Be ready to sing and dance during this rock battle!
Nashville Symphony Concert is Scheduled at Downtown Commons September 6th
Montgomery County, TN – The prestigious Nashville Symphony will perform a free concert for the community on the lawn of the Montgomery County Downtown Commons on Tuesday, September 6th, 2022.
Beginning at 6:00pm, the community can participate in an Instrument Petting Zoo hosted by the Nashville Symphony. An Instrument Petting Zoo is a time when guests can go from instrument to instrument, touching and playing with them, just like we would with animals in a petting zoo!
