To send a card, simply choose one of six different “Meet me in Clarksville” postcards from www/visitclarksvilletn.com/postcard, fill out the online form with the address and message, and Visit Clarksville will take care of the rest. Current designs include Downtown Commons, Dunbar Cave State Park, Historic Downtown, Clarksville Greenway, the Pat Head Summitt statue, and kayaking on the Cumberland River, but images will update seasonally.
GuitarFest returns to Austin Peay State University with trio of concerts at Mabry Concert Hall
Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University (APSU) will host its annual GuitarFest from March 14th-16th.
This year’s event will feature three concerts, each highlighting an esteemed guitarist showcasing a different style.

Roxy Regional Theatre presents Tony Kushner’s “Angels In America”, Part One: Millennium Approaches, March 11th-26th
Clarksville, TN – Nearly three decades after its Broadway premiere, the drama hailed by Newsweek as “the most ambitious American play of our time” is coming to Clarksville’s oldest professional theatre, the Roxy Regional Theatre.
“Angels In America”, Part One: Millennium Approaches, opens at the Roxy Regional Theatre on Friday, March 11th, at 8:00pm. In keeping with the theatre’s pay-what-you-can opening night tradition, all tickets not pre-sold at the regular price will go on sale at 7:30pm that evening for a $5.00 minimum donation.
Surrender Clarksville as held at Fort Defiance this past Saturday
Clarksville, TN – Fort Defiance Interpretive Center hosted a living history event on Saturday, commemorating the surrender of Fort Defiance to Union Soldiers in 1862.
Re-enactors, dressed in costumes from the time, were demonstrating different aspects of life in Clarksville during the Civil War. Refreshments were provided that used recipes, ingredients and techniques that were available in the 19th century.
Hundreds of visitors, mostly families, came out throughout the day and spent time learning a little Clarksville history from more than a dozen volunteers that were on site.
‘America’s Got Talent’ alum Sean Ridgeway performs comedy-magic show ‘Catch Me If You Can’ at the Roxy Regional Theatre, March 5th-6th
Clarksville, TN – His comedy club magic talents landed him a spot on America’s Got Talent Season 7, and now Sean Ridgeway is bringing his comedy-magic experience to the Roxy Regional Theatre for two performances only.
Part comedy show, part magic show, Sean Ridgeway will perform “Catch Me If You Can!” on Saturday, March 5th, at 7:00pm, and Sunday, March 6th, at 2:00pm.
Miss Tennessee USA Pageant Tickets on Sale Now
Clarksville, TN – Delegates from around the state will adorn Clarksville for the 2022 Miss Tennessee USA and Miss Tennessee Teen USA Pageants on March 11th-12th, 2022 at the Austin Peay State University (APSU) Music and Mass Communications Building. Organized and produced by Greenwood Productions, the upcoming pageant marks Clarksville’s 21st year to host the event.
The preliminary show will take place on Friday, March 11th at 7:30pm. On Saturday, March 12th, the final event will take place at 4:00pm, where reigning Miss Tennessee USA Elizabeth Graham Pistole and Miss Tennessee Teen USA Annie Zhao will crown their successors. Both the Miss and Teen winners will represent the State of Tennessee at the Miss USA and Miss Teen USA pageants in 2022.
Fort Defiance to host the Surrender of Clarksville event
Clarksville, TN – Fort Defiance Interpretive Center will host a living history event on Saturday, February 19th, 2022 from 10:00am until 3:00pm to commemorate the surrender of Fort Defiance to Union soldiers in 1862.
The surrender of Clarksville was a significant event in Civil War history, opening the South to Union forces and the capture of Nashville. Uniformed soldiers will provide living history and cannon firing demonstrations. Visitors are invited to tour the permanent exhibit and view the film, “Crossroads of Change.”
