City of Clarksville to hold Independence Day celebration
July 3rd event will offer music, fireworks, activities at Liberty Park
Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, July 3rd, 2021, the City of Clarksville will present its annual Independence Day Celebration at Liberty Park. The free event will include a live concert, activities, and a fireworks show.
Movie Night at Downtown Commons to feature “The Croods: A New Age”, Saturday
Montgomery County, TN – Downtown Commons will host the second of five Movie Nights this Saturday, June 26th, 2021 at 7:45pm. The movies are free and open to the public. This month’s feature is The Croods: A New Age.
During the movie kids will have the opportunity to make crafts at ArtLink’s mobile studio and Driving You Donuts will be available on Main Street. Tennessee Kettle Corn will also be there with popcorn available for every movie!

First-ever Rock Band Camp coming this summer to APSU’s Community School of the Arts
Clarksville, TN – The Austin Peay State University (APSU) Community School of the Arts will host its first-ever Rock Band Camp this summer.
One camp will be on June 28th-July 2nd, 2021, and one will be on July 19th-23rd. The camps will be from 1:00pm-4:00pm at the APSU Music/Mass Communication Building.

Montgomery County Fishing Rodeo set for Saturday, June 12th
Nashville, TN – Tennessee’s 2021 Free Fishing Day is set for Saturday, June 12th when anyone may fish free without a license in Tennessee’s public waters. Academy Sports + Outdoors has generously sponsored this year’s events statewide with fishing gear and giveaways.
The Montgomery County Fishing Rodeo will begin June 12th at 8:00am and go until 12:00am CT at Liberty Park pond. Over 50 kids are expected to take part. The event is for children 5 to 15 years old.

Clarksville, TN – On June 12th, 2021, the Community School of the Arts (CSA) at Austin Peay State University (APSU) will host a figure drawing workshop for community members 18 years or older. The workshop will cost $30.00 including materials.
Kell Black – professor emeritus for Austin Peay State University’s Department of Art + Design – will teach the workshop.
