Clarksville, TN – The Customs House Museum and Cultural Center is located in Historic Downtown Clarksville, Tennessee. Come explore an entire city block featuring large gallery spaces filled with fine art, science, and history.
Some of the events in June at the Museum are Patsy Sharpe: Small Worlds, Richard Sloan’s Birds of the Southeast, Annual Staff Art Exhibit, Susan Bryant: 7 Chapters from A Book About Light, Curiosities: Objects from the Museum Collection.
Clarksville Artist Scene will host Meet and Greet, June 10th
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Artist Scene will hold its first Meet and Greet for local artists to gather, provide mutual support and explore opportunities to collaborate.
The event will be held Thursday, June 10th from 5:00pm-6:00pm at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore at 404 Madison Street in Downtown Clarksville
Organizer Jackie Lewis says the meeting is open to artists in all mediums. “Whether you’re a musician, a visual artist, a writer, an actor/actress, or any other form of art, you are welcome to join us. This is a chance to unite the creative community of Clarksville.”

Hilltop Supermarket’s 2021 Dwayne Byard Memorial BBQ Cook-Off was biggest competition to date
Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, May 17th, Hilltop Supermarket held the 2021 Dwayne Byard Memorial BBQ Cook-Off. The weather was just right, a little overcast with a slight breeze.
This year was the biggest cook-off yet with 22 teams in the field. The teams competed for trophies and cash prizes.
This event is held every year to honor Dwayne Byard who passed away a few years ago.

Downtown @ Sundown features Emmalee, Nightmasters on May 21st
Montgomery County, TN – Downtown @ Sundown will feature local artists Emmalee and Nightmasters at this week’s concert at 7:00pm on Friday, May 21st at Downtown Commons.
The first artist to perform Friday evening is Emmalee along with her band. Emmalee was part of Kelly Clarkson’s Team on The Voice in 2020. Her debut single, Fearless, captures the heart of her love for pop music while simultaneously conveying a message of hope and empowerment.
Roxy Regional Theatre’s “Back to the Movies” showings for the Summer

Historic Collinsville Pioneer Settlement set to open June 5th
Clarksville, TN – Historic Collinsville Pioneer Settlement in rural Montgomery County, Tennessee, celebrates its 2021 season-opening weekend June 5th-6th. The 40-acre, open-air property showcases pioneer life from 1840-1900 with 16 authentically furnished buildings.

Hilltop Supermarket’s 2021 Dwayne Byard Memorial BBQ Cook-Off kicked off Friday night
Clarksville, TN – The 2021 Dwayne Byard Memorial BBQ Cook-Off at Hilltop Supermarket began Friday night, May 14th, 2021. There was live music and plenty of food.
“The weather was been excellent tonight. Cool, but not too cold,” stated Cody Jackson, Hilltop Supermarket.
Movie Night at the Downtown Commons features Toy Story 4, May 15th
Montgomery County, TN – The Downtown Commons will host the first of 5 Movie Nights beginning this Saturday, May 15th, 2021 at 7:30pm. The movies are free and open to the public. This month’s feature is Toy Story 4.
During the movie kids will have the opportunity to make the Toy Story character “Forky” at ArtLink’s mobile studio and food trucks will be available on Main Street.
Customs House Museum teams with American Red Cross to Celebrate 140 Years of the Red Cross
Clarksville, TN – On May 21st, 1881, 140 years ago, Clara Burton founded the American Red Cross on the basis of wanting to help others in distress. Barton risked her life to bring supplies and support to soldiers in the field during the Civil War.
Over the last 140 years, the American Red Cross has expanded to provide many services to members of the American armed forces and their families, as well as provide disaster relief in the United States and around the world.

Roxy Regional Theatre’s Back to the Movies presents “The Goonies”, Friday
