Vendor Applications Now Being Accepted for 15th Annual Frolic On Franklin on Saturday, September 18th
Clarksville, TN – Applications are now being accepted for booth space at the 15th annual “Frolic on Franklin: A Celebration of the Arts.”
The event will be held on Saturday, September 18th, 2021 from 8:30am to 3:30pm, in the 100 block of Franklin Street in Historic Downtown Clarksville.
Coordinated by the Roxy Regional Theatre, the street event offers 40 vendor spaces where artists can showcase and sell fine arts and hand-crafted items, such as photography, paintings and drawings, pottery, jewelry, glass items, and more.
Roxy Regional Theatre’s Back to the Movies presents “Suffragette”, Friday
Clarksville, TN – This weekend, celebrate the women around the world who have fought and continue to fight against the gender inequalities and inequities that still permeate today’s society. Get Back to the Movies at the Roxy Regional Theatre with the inspirational historical drama “Suffragette” this Friday, April 30th, at 7:00pm.
Side note: Before you head into the movie, be sure to stop by Public Square and check out Clarksville’s own women’s suffrage monument, Tennessee Triumph, honoring those who fought for women’s voting rights and passage of the 19th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States.
Downtown Commons reschedules April 24th Movie Night
Montgomery County, TN – Due to the forecasted weather for this Saturday, Downtown Commons is canceling the Saturday, April 24th, 2021 Moana Movie Night and rescheduling it for September 4th.
We hope to see everyone at our May 15th Movie Night featuring Toy Story 4!
Clarksville’s 1st Annual International Women’s Ride set for May 1st
Clarksville, TN – On May 1st, 2021, the 1st Annual International Women’s Ride will begin at Appleton Harley-Davidson. Registration starts at 9:00am. KSU is at 10:00am.
Appleton Harley-Davidson is located at 2501 U.S. 41a Bypass in Clarksville Tennessee.
The ending point for the ride is Pati’s 1800s Settlement located at 1793 J H O’Bryan Avenue in Grand Rivers Kentucky.
Clarksville’s Customs House Museum May 2021 Exhibits, Activities
Clarksville, TN – The Customs House Museum and Cultural Center is located in Historic Downtown Clarksville, Tennessee. Come explore an entire city block featuring large gallery spaces filled with fine art, science, and history.

Movie Nights at the Downtown Commons

Come join us once a month through the month of August to watch your favorite family movies under the stars. A mobile art studio will be set up with ArtLink for hands-on activities for kids and food trucks on Main Street for treats for everyone.
“Mike Egan: Modern Pop” on exhibit at Customs House Museum and Cultural Center
Clarksville, TN – Artist Mike Egan loves to paint death. His work, done in bold, brightly-hued acrylic, portrays the subject with a bit of humor and homage to Mexican folk art.
In his exhibition, Mike Egan: Modern Pop, simplistic shapes and black outlines dance across the wood panels displayed on the Planters Bank Peg Harvill Gallery walls at the Customs House Museum and Cultural Center in a celebratory fashion.
