Tennessee Honors Clarksville’s Roxy Regional Theatre, Charlie Cushman with “Tennessee Music Pathways” Markers
Clarksville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Tourist Development and Visit Clarksville honored the Roxy Regional Theatre and Grammy award winning banjoist Charlie Cushman in his hometown with the unveiling of “Tennessee Music Pathways” markers.
Local and state leaders, Roxy supporters and the Cushman family gathered in two ceremonies to mark the special commemorations on Thursday, November 19th, 2020.

Customs House Museum and Cultural Center starts Winter set of Art Exhibitions

Clarksville’s DBO Gallery displays Paintings Exhibition that brings awareness to Youth Homelessness
Clarksville, TN – A collection of 12 arresting paintings by Olasubomi Aka-Bashorun will go on display at DBO Gallery in Clarksville, Tennessee next month, to bring awareness to the homeless youth pandemic currently happening on an international scale.
#Homeless Youth Series comprises striking black and white portraits and vignettes that were inspired by Aka-Bashorun’s own encounters, and by photographs by artists like Lee Jeffries.

Customs House Museum receives $150,000 Donation from Kiwanis Club of Clarksville for Children’s Area Remodel
Clarksville, TN – During the Customs House Museum and Cultural Center’s Grand Illumination lighting event held on October 3rd, 2020, Executive Director Frank Lott had a special announcement for those in attendance.
The Downtown Kiwanis Club of Clarksville has pledged $150,000 for the renovation of the Museum’s children’s area known as Explorers’ Landing.
