Clarksville, TN – The Customs House Museum and Cultural Center is located in historic downtown Clarksville, Tennessee. Come explore an entire city block featuring large gallery spaces filled with fine art, science and history.
Some of the events in March at the Museum are: Women of the Neighborhood, Wonders of the West, The Artwork of HAPI (Healing Arts Project, Inc.), Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Dunwody Boehm Porcelain Collection, Apron Strings: Ties to the Past, I Have a Voice: Traveling Exhibition from Tennessee State Museum, and Hands-On Explorers: Dr. Seuss Science.
Candlelight Ball auction to raise money for APSU scholarships
Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University (APSU) Candlelight Ball is set for Saturday, March 14th, 2020.
Charlie Daniels, the Country Music Hall of Famer known for “sawing on a fiddle and playing it hot,” helped reinvigorate that 400-year-old instrument with his 1979 hit, “The Devil Went Down to Georgia.”
Customs House Museum & Cultural Center, Friends Celebrate 25 Years of the Dunwody Boehm Porcelain Collection
Clarksville, TN – Fred and Judy Landiss were introduced to Boehm Porcelain sculptures over 25 years ago. These delicately crafted figurines highlight the beautiful details found in wildlife and nature.
The Landiss’ realized after traveling how valuable and significant each piece is. Since then, Boehm sculptures have held a significant place in the Landiss’ hearts.

Cumberland Winds celebrates Black History Month at the Roxy Regional Theatre on February 23rd
Clarksville, TN – The sounds of West Africa will fill the hall of Clarksville’s oldest professional theatre, the Roxy Regional Theatre, for one afternoon this month.
The Cumberland Winds celebrates Black History Month with a special concert in the intimate setting of the Roxy Regional Theatre on Sunday, February 23rd, 2020 at 2:00pm.
Organized by Yvonne Kendall and Mike Ritter, this narrated performance of instruments, song and dance will travel through time from West Africa to the Americas — North America, South America and the Caribbean — celebrating the musical influence of African culture in the New World.

Heartwarming Romantic Comedy “Dancing Lessons” plays the Roxy Regional Theatre’s theotherspace, February 17th-25th
Clarksville, TN – Two lonely individuals find a connection through dance in the latest offering upstairs in the Roxy Regional Theatre’s theotherspace.
Starring Ian Alexander Erbe and Emma Jordan, the heartwarming romantic comedy “Dancing Lessons” plays the 50-seat black-box theatre located upstairs at the Roxy for four evenings only, February 17th through February 25th.
Written by Mark St. Germain and directed by Ryan Bowie, “Dancing Lessons” centers on Ever, a socially awkward young man with Asperger’s syndrome, who seeks the instruction of a Broadway dancer, Senga, to learn enough dancing to survive an awards dinner.
