APSU successful in accreditation process

Austin Peay State University - APSUClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University (APSU) recently completed its fifth-year accreditation review successfully without requiring any additional reports.

The review, which is part of the overall accreditation process from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), is completed by institutions approximately half way between the full 10-year reaffirmation process.

APSU partners with Fort Campbell in northern long-eared bat, white-nose syndrome study

Austin Peay State University - APSUClarksville, TN – The Austin Peay State University (APSU) Department of Biology is partnering with Fort Campbell, Kentucky, in an Intergovernmental Support Agreement (IGSA) to survey the base for endangered bat species.

In the partnership, Fort Campbell provides funding for Dr. Catherine Haase, an assistant biology professor, three of her graduate students and their equipment.
