Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s Movies in the Park kicks off Saturday

Liberty Park Athletic Field remains the site Movies in the Park

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department’s Movies in the Park presented by Kyrstin Frate with Keller Williams is back for a third time this summer.

“Pokemon: Detective Pikachu” will be shown on Saturday, August 15th, 2020 at the Liberty Park Athletic Field. Activities will begin at 5:30pm, followed by the movie at sunset, which is around 7:30pm.

The first 40 guests will receive a free Movies in the Park popcorn bucket and one free bucket of popcorn provided by Loaves & Fishes TN. The branded bucket will allow guests to receive a $1.00 discount on popcorn at future Movies in the Park events this year.

Manna Café Ministries to offer Basic Adulting Classes

Manna Café MinistriesClarksville, TN – Starting Thursday, August 20th, 2020, Manna Café Ministries will offer a new program called Basic Adulting Classes. The classes are scheduled to take place every Thursday at the Refuge Community Center, 503 D Street, Clarksville, Tennessee.

Participants may choose from two timeslots each Thursday: 9:00am–11:00am (includes brunch) or 6:00pm–8:00pm (includes dinner). This program will run from August 20th until November 5th and is free of charge to the community.

Bikers Who Care annual Toy Run set for September 19th

Bikers Who CareClarksville, TN – On Monday, August 10th, 2020, Bikers Who Care Director Bill Langford announced that this year’s BWC Toy Run will take place Saturday, September 19th, 2020.

Riders are encouraged to arrive at Liberty Park at 11:00am. They will depart for their scenic journey through Clarksville at 1:00pm and arrive at Appleton Harley-Davidson about 30 minutes later.
