Montgomery County adds Insurance Safety Office Web Application to County Website

Montgomery County TennesseeMontgomery County, TN – Montgomery County Government in conjunction with the Montgomery County Fire Service has recently announced a lowered ISO (Insurance Safety Office) rating that affects county residents living within five (5) road miles of a Volunteer Fire Station.

To assist residents in determining if their property falls within that distance requirement, Montgomery County partnered with the Austin Peay GIS Office to create a web mapping application.

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Today, December 16th, 2013, the Clarksville Police Department welcomes Daniel Binkley, James Baker, Holden Hudgin, and George Goodman III.

The New Officers’ friends and families, along with Deputy Chief Frankie Gray and other City Officials, gathered at the City Hall, while all four Officers were sworn in by Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan.

Clarksville Transit System offers Free Fare Day on Black Friday

Clarksville Transit SystemClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Transit System will be offering free fares for riders all day on November 29th, 2013.

As part of the Regional Transportation Authority, CTS will be joining with other transit providers throughout Middle Tennessee who will be offering free rides.

Included in the program are the commuter buses from Clarksville to Nashville which will run as usual that day.
