APSU alumna establishes Jackson-Hardin Education Endowed Scholarship for APSU students

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University (APSU) alumna Dr. Carlette Hardin recently made a generous donation to the Austin Peay State University Foundation to establish the Jackson-Hardin Education Endowed Scholarship for APSU students.
The scholarship was created in memory of Hardin’s parents, Carl and Cora Belle Jackson.

Clarksville, TN – The Austin Peay State University (APSU) Eriksson College of Education was awarded a $600,000 grant from the Tennessee Department of Education earlier this month – the largest grant in that college’s history – to develop an innovative, job-embedded program for aspiring assistant principals.

In 2016, the Nashville State Community College student was looking to earn her bachelor’s degree, and she found a university in another part of Tennessee with a program that assisted students diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.
