Clarksville, TN – The 2021 Austin Peay State University (APSU) annual Scholarship 5K Run will take place at 8:30am on Saturday, October 2nd, 2021 at Emerald Hill, home of the Austin Peay State University National Alumni Association (NAA). Registration will open at 7:00am.

Austin Peay celebrates 90 years of Residence Life

Clarksville, TN – In the fall of 1931, Austin Peay Normal School students eagerly watched construction crews put the finishing touches on an impressive new dormitory.
The Myra McKay Harned Hall, with its “columns and polish marble floors,” would soon become the centerpiece of a young campus crowded with old, deteriorating academic buildings, left over from the defunct schools – Stewart College and Montgomery County Masonic College – that once occupied the Austin Peay grounds.

The event will be held Thursday, August 12th, and Friday, August 13th, 2021 at the Art + Design Building on the campus of Austin Peay State University.

Clarksville Regional Airport obtains Donald Stanton as its first Designated Pilot Examiner

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Regional Airport is very proud of the multitude of flight schools, flight students, and flight instructors it attracts especially since the airport has obtained its very first Designated Pilot Examiner [DPE], Mr. Donald Stanton.
Mr. Stanton has been a Clarksville resident since 1966 and is currently an adjunct faculty member for Austin Peay State University (APSU) in their aviation sciences department.
First-ever Rock Band Camp coming this summer to APSU’s Community School of the Arts

One camp will be on June 28th-July 2nd, 2021, and one will be on July 19th-23rd. The camps will be from 1:00pm-4:00pm at the APSU Music/Mass Communication Building.
