Clarksville, TN – The 2024 Dwayne Byard Memorial BBQ Cook-Off commenced on Friday evening at Hilltop Supermarket in Clarksville, TN. The event started with a lively party featuring a 70s-80s Tribute Band and an array of delectable food available. Despite a drizzle earlier in the day, the weather cleared up in the afternoon, creating perfect conditions for the festivities.
“The weather worked out well. Around 10 o’clock, we were afraid, and it was still drizzling a little bit. But then the rain cleared off, and everything is great now, so I couldn’t ask for any better,” said Cody Jackson, Hilltop Supermarket.

Clarksville, TN – The savory scent of barbecue smoke will once again fill the air as Hilltop Supermarket prepares to host the highly anticipated Hilltop Supermarket 2024 Dwayne Byard Memorial BBQ Cook-Off on May 3rd and 4th.
Located just outside of Clarksville, Tennessee, this annual event pays homage to the late Dwayne Byard, a beloved community member known for his passion for grilling and generosity.

Clarksville, TN – Hilltop Supermarket will host the annual Dwayne Byard Memorial BBQ Cook-Off this Friday and Saturday, May 20th and 21st, 2022. This event is free and open to the public.
Hilltop holds this event every year in honor of Dwayne Byard who passed away in 2015.
The cook-off begins Friday night at 6:00pm and continues until 9:00pm. There will be live music by The Beagles as well as fresh BBQ for sale.

Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, May 17th, Hilltop Supermarket held the 2021 Dwayne Byard Memorial BBQ Cook-Off. The weather was just right, a little overcast with a slight breeze.
This year was the biggest cook-off yet with 22 teams in the field. The teams competed for trophies and cash prizes.
This event is held every year to honor Dwayne Byard who passed away a few years ago.
Pig Destroyer was named Hilltop Supermarket’s 2021 Dwayne Byard Memorial BBQ Cook-Off Grand Champion.

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department will hold its annual BBQ Bash from 10:00am to 3:00pm Saturday, October 3rd, 2020 at Liberty Park. The event is sponsored by TriStar Beverage of Clarksville, Queener Law, and Bojangles.
The public is invited to watch area teams compete to prepare the best tasting barbecue. Admission for the public is free, and guests can expect live music, artisan vendors and a cornhole tournament. Beer and barbecue will be available for purchase, and 100 percent of beer proceeds will go to Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Clarksville, TN – It might have been raining, but spirits were high at Hilltop Supermarket’s 3rd annual Dwayne Byard Memorial BBQ Cook Off.
The cook off was held in honor of Dwayne Byard who past away three years ago. Proceeds from the event went towards a scholarship fund for Dwayne’s grandchildren.
Seventeen teams competed for trophies and cash prizes. There was BBQ, ribs and more for sale.
