Clarksville Parks and Recreation receives $7,580 grant for Sport Wheelchairs

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation is proud to announce that it has received a $7,580 Quality of Life grant from the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation.

The award was one of 107 grants totaling over $735,482 awarded by the Reeve Foundation to nonprofit organizations nationwide that provide more opportunities, access, and daily quality of life for individuals living with paralysis, their families, and caregivers. Conceived by the late Dana Reeve, the program has awarded over 2,600 grants totaling over $19 million since 1999.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation seeks Public Input for State Grant to Improve Swan Lake Aquatic Center

Harper Greene Benefit Supper and Singing to be held Saturday, April 2nd

BenefitCunningham, TN – On Saturday, April 2nd, 2016, a Benefit Supper and Singing will be held for Harper Greene at Montgomery Central Elementary School from 5:00pm until 8:00pm.

Harper Greene was diagnosed in December, 2015 with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) at the age of 2. He is the son of Nick and Chasidy Greene.
