Clarksville Parks and Recreation to hold Trail Cleanup Day at Clarksville Greenway April 6th

Clarksville, TN – Clarksvillians are encouraged to join in the beautification of one of the City’s favorite walking trails.
The City of Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a cleanup at The Clarksville Greenway, located at the Pollard Road Trailhead, on Saturday, April 6th from 8:00am to 10:00am.
City of Clarksville’s Spring Eggstravanganza Easter Egg Hunt was a blast!

Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville Department of Parks and Recreation held their annual Spring Eggstravanganza Easter Egg Hunt Saturday at at the Heritage Park Baseball Fields.
This year separate hunts were held for each age between 2 and 10 with hunts kicking off every 15 minutes. There were more than 20,000 eggs; scattered among them were special prize eggs.

Clarksville Department of Parks and Recreation’s Wettest Egg Hunt Continues to Delight Area Children

Clarksville, TN – The Indoor Aquatic Center once again played host to one of the most popular Easter events in Clarksville, The Wettest Egg Hunts. On Saturday, March 23rd, thousands of brightly colored eggs were put into the swimming and wading pools, to await the hundreds of children who would plunge in to seek out a variety of prizes. Many of the eggs floated, but some were weighted causing them to sink to the bottom of the pool.

Indoor Aquatic Center to host Toddler Splash April 3rd

Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting the Toddler Splash at the Indoor Aquatic Center, located at 166 Cunningham Lane, on April 3rd.
Kids ages 1 to 5-years-old can shake those winter blues away with April’s “Flowers and Bugs” theme by enjoying water games, springtime crafts, and a “Fishing Pond.”
Clarksville Street Department to offer Yard Debris Pickup Service March 18th through April 8th

Queen City Road Race featuring new 7K Race registration going on now

Clarksville, TN – It’s that time of year again to lace up those running shoes and begin preparing for the 35th Annual Queen City Road Race scheduled for Saturday, May 4th.
The Queen City Road Race event is a Clarksville tradition promoting fitness and fun for all ages. The 7K and 5K race route takes runners through the streets of Historic Downtown Clarksville, beginning and ending at Austin Peay State University’s Governors Stadium, while the One Mile Movement takes you on an exciting tour of a portion of the APSU campus.
For over thirty years, hundreds of Clarksville-Montgomery County and Fort Campbell school students, teachers and family members have participated in this Clarksville tradition.
