Clarksville, TN – The next meeting of the Clarksville Civil War Roundtable will be on Wednesday, May 15th at the Bone & Joint Center, 980 Professional Park Drive, right across the street from Tennova Healthcare – Clarksville. This is just off Dunlop Lane and Holiday Drive and only a few minutes east of Governor’s Square mall. The meeting begins at 7:00pm and is always open to the public. Members please bring a friend or two – new recruits are always welcomed.

“John Adams, Thomas Jefferson and the Era of Reassessment” is the topic for the next Clarksville Civil War Roundtable meeting.
Friends of Fort Defiance to hold “March To The Past” on Saturday, May 4th

Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, May 4th, 2019, the Friends of Fort Defiance will host their annual March To The Past living history event at Fort Defiance in Clarksville from 10:00am to 3:00pm.
Live cannon demonstrations, 19th-century music performed by a Cumberland Winds ensemble, period reenactors, and numerous displays and presenters will all be part of this big event.

Numerous exhibits on civilian and military life in the 19th century, artillery demonstrations and more at Clarksville’s historic Fort Defiance Civil War Park and Interpretive Center.

A Candlelight Christmas Returns to Historic Collinsville

Clarksville, TN – Historic Collinsville will host Candlelight Christmas tours December 14th-15th, 2018 for the first time in 15 years.
During the two evenings from 4:00pm-8:00pm, docents will take guests on guided tours of the pioneer settlement. Each home and structure will be donned with holiday décor appropriate for the 1830s – 1870s era. Guests will also enjoy music and a fireside Christmas story.
