Clarksville, TN – Get ready Clarksville, our Downtown Market at Public Square is one of the contestants in the 2011 America’s Favorite Farmers Markets contest hosted each year by American Farmland Trust. Thanks to your support, our market was last year voted No. 1 in the state of Tennessee and No. 6 in the nation.

Clarksville Downtown Market to Open May 21st

Clarksville, TN – When the 2011 Clarksville Downtown Market opens Saturday, May 21st, approximately 45 vendors will be on hand offering local fresh produce, baked goods, home décor, seasonal flowers and more. The Clarksville Downtown Market is open every Saturday from opening day, May 21st until October 22nd from 8:00am to 1:00pm on Public Square.
Last year, Clarksville’s Downtown Market at Public Square was voted #1 in the state of Tennessee and #6 in the nation, in the 2010 America’s Favorite Farmers Markets contest which was hosted by American Farmland Trust. The online contest was a nationwide challenge to see which of America’s farmers markets can rally the most support from their communities- and support we did receive! 2011 Clarksville Downtown Market

Clarksville, TN – The 2011 Clarksville Downtown Market will begin in one month from tomorrow. We are very excited to get started and are looking forward to having a third great season! We will be located in the parking lot next to City Hall in Downtown Clarksville once again this season from 8:00am – 1:00pm on Saturdays.
If you have not turned in your application to be a vendor at the market we will need it as soon as possible. Contracts for accepted market vendors will be going out this week and spots will fill up fast.

Clarksville, TN – Since it’s opening last year, the Clarksville Downtown Market has been a success- so much so that we were voted the number one market in Tennessee through America’s Farmland Trust. If you have not already visited, you will not want to miss out on the last day of the season this Saturday, October 23rd.
