Montgomery County, TN – The Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library will be holding a Basic Computer Skills and Facebook Class every Friday from 3:30pm until 5:30pm.
Want to begin using a computer? If you need an in-person guide who can show you the basics of using a computer than this is the class for you.
Clarksville-Montgomery County Recertification Refresher Class at Agero

Montgomery County, TN – On Tuesday, June 20th, Agero hosted the Clarksville-Montgomery County’s Green Certification Program’s refresher class. Thirty-one attendees representing many of the organizations that originally certified in 2013 and 2015 participated in the class.
The class reviewed the latest environmental concerns in our community, discussed the impacts on the environment, and shared their ideas and continued improvements within their own organizations.
Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library’s Summer Reading Program begins June 12th

Montgomery County, TN – The Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library’s annual summer reading program will kick off June 12th with a lineup of events and resources designed to encourage children, teens and adults to exercise their mind by reading through the summer vacation.
The theme of this year’s program is “Build a Better World.” Patrons are invited to try something new this summer: at home, in the community, throughout the country, and around the globe. Read a new book, try a new craft, meet new people, and learn about new places.

Patrons with fines on their accounts can exchange one food donation for $1.00 in eligible fines
Clarksville, TN – From May 1st through May 14th, 2017 the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library will be accepting food donations in exchange for $1.00 of eligible fines for each item.
This year’s Food for Fines benefits Manna Café, a non-profit organization that feeds the hungry.

CTS to offer free summer rides for youth

Program will provide access to parks, pools and activities
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Transit System and the City of Clarksville are offering free summer transportation to young people to help them engage in summer jobs and enrichment programs.
CTS will offer the Summer Youth Free Ride Program from May 30th to August 31st to youth 18 and under with a valid CTS Youth or Student ID.

Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library announces upcoming Sensory Programming

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library is proud to announce upcoming sensory friendly programming for children on the autism spectrum.
The library holds a Sensory Story time on the first Saturday of every month from 10:30am to 11:30am. Upcoming dates include February 4th, March 4th, April 1st, and May 6th.

Clarksville, TN – The Teen Program is back at the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library! On December 22nd and 29th, from 5:00pm-6:30pm, the library is hosting Teen Board Game Night in the small meeting room. Teens are encouraged to bring their favorite games and a friend.
On January 7th, 2017, the Teen Anime Club returns with a movie showing of “The Boy and the Beast.” The movie will be shown in the large meeting room at 2:00pm.

101st Airborne Division Band to perform Holiday Concert at Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library

Clarksville, TN – The 101st Airborne Division Band from Fort Campbell, KY will be performing in the atrium of the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library at 6:00pm on Tuesday, December 13th.
The show will feature several different types of musical groupings including a brass quintet and a jazz combo for an hour-long concert.
