Clarksville Parks and Recreation partners with APSU Fraternity and Sorority Affairs to offer free after-school tutoring program

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation and APSU Fraternity and Sorority Affairs have joined forces to provide a free after-school tutoring program for youth in the Clarksville community.

The new program, Each One Teach One, is held on Mondays at the Burt-Cobb Community Center from 4:00pm to 5:30pm.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation now accepting Lifeguard applications the New Year

January 8, 2016

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation is now accepting applications for lifeguard positions for the 2016 summer swimming season.

To become a lifeguard, participants must be at least 15 years of age and able to swim 300 yards continuously, tread water for two minutes without the use of arms or hands and successfully complete a timed event within 1 minute and 40 seconds.
