Teen Takeover will feature a video gaming area hosted by Game Stop, DJ entertainment, giveaways, food, indoor inflatables, and plenty of room to relax and hang out with friends.

Movies in the ParkClarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville and Convergys are excited to announce How to Train Your Dragon 2 is coming to the big screen Saturday, July 18th as part of the 2015 Movies in the Park. Admission is completely free.

When an ice cave that is home to hundreds of new wild dragons and the mysterious Dragon Rider is discovered by Hiccup and Toothless, the two friends find themselves at the center of a battle to protect the peace.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – Live music, games, great food and of course fireworks were the highlight of the City of Clarksville’s eighth annual Independence Day Celebration at Liberty Park held Friday, July 3rd, 2015.

“Tonight is our July 3rd Independence Day celebration,” stated Clarksville Parks and Recreation Special Events Supervisor Jessica Goldberg. “We have great music and lots of food. It’s just a great family event.”

Clarksville Parks and Recreation seeks vendors for 5th annual Clarksville SportsFest

Clarksville Sports FestivalClarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation will be hosting its fifth-annual Clarksville SportsFest on Saturday, August 15th from 10:00am until 2:00pm at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center located within Liberty Park at 1188 Cumberland Drive. SportsFest will offer a variety of sports, athletic and outdoor activities for the entire family.

Attendants can rotate through over 20 sports demonstrations of their choosing to get hands on experience in learning a new sport like Parkour, Rugby, Crossfit, Archery, Scuba, Pickleball, Lacrosse, MMA and many more!

Movies in the ParkClarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville and Convergys are excited to announce The LEGO Movie is coming to the big screen Saturday, June 20th as part of the 2015 Movies in the Park.

Released in 2014, The LEGO Movie (PG) is an animated story about Emmet (Chris Pratt), an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world.

City of Clarksville’s Independence Day Celebration set for July 3rd, 2015

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – City of Clarksville will celebrate our nation’s independence this year with the eighth annual Independence Day Celebration on Friday, July 3rd, 2015 at Liberty Park. The event is free and open to the public.

Activities and music will begin at 6:30pm. Seating is available throughout the park and the concerts will take place on the Great Lawn of the Wilma Rudolph Event Center. Concessions are for sale throughout the park.
