American Farmland Trust’s I Love My Farmers Market Celebration
Clarksville, TN — After more than three months, American Farmland Trust’s 2014 I Love My Farmers Market Celebration came to a close and the Clarksville Downtown Market ranked number 19 in the Top 100 Most Celebrated in the Country – with 115 pledges collected.
Each week the I Love My Farmers Market Celebration encouraged shoppers to champion local family farmers by pledging to shop at their farmers markets each week. Nationally, shoppers pledged to spend $443,608.62 at farmers’ markets this season, putting funds directly into the pockets of family farmers.
Clarksville Parks and Recreation announces “Art on the Park” contest winners

Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department is happy to announce the winners of this year’s “Art on the Park” contest.
The five finalists and grand prize winner will receive their framed artwork and the opportunity to paint their design on various walls of the Heritage Park Skatepark.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s Youth Basketball League registration ends October 6th

Clarksville, TN – There’s still time to register your child for this season of Youth Basketball, but you’d better hurry! Registration for the Youth Basketball League will be closing on October 6th.
Onsite registration is available at any of the three Community Centers, as well as at the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Main Office through Monday, October 6th.

Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department invites you to enjoy the Indoor Aquatic Center at New Providence, located at 166 Cunningham Lane, this fall and winter!
The Indoor Aquatic Center opens its doors for the Indoor Season on Wednesday, October 1st. Enjoy a day of swimming and get wet and wild with the popular water play equipment from 6:30am to 12:00pm and 3:00pm until 8:00pm.
