Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s Twilight Basketball registration is coming to a close, register today

Clarksville, TN – The October 3rd deadline to register for Twilight Basketball men’s league is quickly approaching.
This new opportunity for basketball enthusiasts ages 18 and older, will be held at the Kleeman Community Center, located at 166 Cunningham Lane, on Saturdays October 17th-December 29th from 5:00pm to 10:00pm.

Fright on Franklin Costume Contest Registration Now Available

Clarksville, TN – Fright on Franklin, the City’s annual Halloween festival, will take place on Saturday, October 25th, in Downtown Clarksville from 3:00pm to 7:00pm.
At this time, Clarksville Parks and Recreation is accepting costume contest registration at www.recpro.cityofclarksville.com. Space is limited and filling quickly.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation to host community clean-up at the Clarksville Greenway

Clarksville, TN – Come on out and help the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department maintain one of Clarksville’s treasures!
A community clean-up at the Clarksville Greenway, located at 1101 Pollard Road, will take place Saturday, October 4th.
Kleeman Community Center and the Indoor Aquatic Center plan to scare up fun and thrills at the second-annual, Spooky Spectacular and Haunted Maze & Swim

Clarksville, TN – The Kleeman Community Center and the Indoor Aquatic Center will be scaring up some Halloween fun with their second-annual Spooky Spectacular and Haunted Maze & Swim on Saturday, October 18th.
The Spooky Spectacular will be open from 2:00pm to 5:00pm with a Haunted Maze and Haunted Swim following from 7:00pm to 10:00pm at both facilities, located side-by-side at 166 Cunningham Lane.
Movies in the Park season concludes with ‘Hunger Games 2: Catching Fire’

Clarksville, TN – Movies in the Park, the City’s free, outdoor movie series, concludes Saturday, September 27th, at Liberty Park, 1190 Cumberland Drive, Clarksville. ‘Hunger Games 2: Catching Fire,’ rated PG-13, and brought to you by Premier Medical will be shown at approximately 7:00pm (dependent on sunset).
Activities begin at 6:00pm and include archery instruction and a kid-friendly variation of the Arena Games with Clarksville Parks and Recreation.

The ROTC program at Austin Peay State University will be awarded the $500.00 cash prize for providing the highest number of volunteer hours served at the 2014 Riverfest celebration held September 5th and 6th at McGregor Park.
