Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department to hold Daddy-Daughter Date Night

Clarksville Parks and RecreationClarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department will be offering a memorable evening for dad and daughter couples on Thursday, June 19th.

Dinner and dancing will take place at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center, 1190 Cumberland Drive, Clarksville, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm that evening. Each daughter will receive a corsage and a photographer will be on-site for photos. [Read more]

Fort Defiance Interpretive Center adds second session to its popular Civil War Summer Camp

Clarksville Parks and RecreationClarksville, TN – The Fort Defiance Interpretive Center, located at 120 Duncan Street, is proud to host the City’s Civil War Summer Camp for youth in the 5th and 6th grades. The Camp was so popular in its first year that a second one-week session has been added to allow for more kids to participate!

Improvements made to Clarksville’s Wilma Rudolph Event Center

Clarksville Parks and RecreationClarksville, TN – The Wilma Rudolph Event Center (WREC), located at Liberty Park, recently received a facelift or, more appropriately, a glass lift. Contractors were on site April 21st-24th, 2014 applying over 6,000 square feet of window film to the event center’s glass interior.
