Governor’s Square MallClarksville, TN – Governor’s Square Mall in Clarksville, Tennessee, is getting a new look and new excitement. Major renovation work is commencing to further enhance the beauty and comfort of this popular retail destination for consumers in the region. 

The multi-million dollar project will incorporate new flooring, lighting, signage, customer amenities, interior décor, wall and ceiling finishes.  The complex’s exterior will undergo similar upgrades, along with repaving, new landscaping, and upgraded LED pylon signage on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.

Clarskville's Roxy Regional TheatreClarksville, TN – “Rediscover Your Voice” with an empowering and hilarious story of friendship and revenge in the Rolodex era, 9 to 5: The Musical, opening at the Roxy Regional Theatre on Thursday, June 13th, 2024, at 7:00pm.

Featuring the music of Dolly Parton and based on the hit 1980 comedy film, 9 to 5: The Musical is set in the late 1970s, when three female coworkers are pushed to the boiling point and concoct a plan to get even with the sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot they call their boss. 

In a hilarious turn of events, Violet (Victoria Wolfe), Judy (Rachel Lind) and Doralee (Dana Cullinane) live out their wildest fantasy — giving their boss the boot!  While their boss Franklin Hart (Travis Ulrich) remains “otherwise engaged,” the women give their workplace a dream makeover, taking control of the company that had always kept them down.

Roxy Regional Theatre announces 2024 Summer Theatre program registration going on now

Clarskville's Roxy Regional TheatreClarksville, TN – Registration is now open for the 2024 Summer Theatre Program at the Roxy Regional Theatre.

Since 1995, the Roxy has been introducing youth to the experience of live theatre and expanding their knowledge of the craft through the School of the Arts and Summer Theatre Program. 

This June, the Roxy Regional Theatre is hosting four-day youth summer theatre workshops, divided into two age groups, for young artists in the local area to learn from working professionals in the industry.

Clarskville's Roxy Regional TheatreClarksville, TN – The Roxy Regional Theatre’s  bonus pay-what-you-can performance of The SpongeBob Musical: Youth Edition is this Thursday, May 16th, 2024.  All tickets not pre-sold at the regular ticket price will go on sale at 5:30pm on Thursday for a $5.00 minimum donation.

Fort Defiance Civil War Park and Interpretive Center holds ‘March to the Past’ Event

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – On Saturday, May 11th, 2024, from 10:00am to 3:00pm, the Fort Defiance Civil War Park and Interpretive Center hosted its annual “March to the Past” event. Visitors had the opportunity to step back in time and experience life during the Civil War era.

The weather was ideal, with a gentle breeze in the air.

“We couldn’t have hoped for better weather, especially considering the rain we’ve experienced in the past few days. Today was truly a blessing—a fantastic day,” William Parker, Historical Interpreter at Fort Defiance, said.

Step Back in Time: Fort Defiance Park to hold ‘March to the Past’ Event this Saturday, May 11th

Look no further than Fort Defiance Civil War Park and Interpretive Center’s upcoming event, March to the Past. On Saturday, May 11th, 2024, from 10:00am to 3:00pm, visitors can step back in time and get a glimpse of what life was like during the Civil War era.

Partnering with The Friends of Fort Defiance, this event promises to be an immersive experience with 19th-century living history demonstrations. Attendees can witness Civil War camp life, watch musket and artillery firing by Clarksville’s own Porter’s Battery, learn about period cooking, and even participate in fun children’s activities.

Roxy Regional Theatre announces Two Pay What You Can Nights for The SpongeBob Musical: Youth Edition

Clarskville's Roxy Regional TheatreClarksville, TN – Rediscover Friendship and plunge into the family-friendly theatrical sensation that is The SpongeBob Musical: Youth Edition, opening at the Roxy Regional Theatre this Thursday, May 9th, 2024 at 6:00pm.

Due to the double casting of youth in this production, we have TWO pay-what-you-can performances of The SpongeBob Musical: Youth Edition — this Thursday, May 9th, and next Thursday, May 16th.  All tickets not pre-sold at the regular ticket price will go on sale at 5:30pm each Thursday evening for a $5.00 minimum donation.
