Concert part of ceremony to unveil newly renamed Fortera Stadium
Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, April 23rd, Austin Peay State University and Fortera Credit Union celebrate a new era in Governors Football with the unveiling of the newly renamed Fortera Stadium, capped off with a concert by Nashville recording artist Maggie Rose in the stadium lot.
Rose’s performance will conclude a day’s worth of activities, beginning with a noon baseball game, as the Governors take on Eastern Kentucky in Raymond C. Hand Park. At 1:00pm, Governors Softball will compete against Jacksonville State at Cheryl Holt Field.

Clarksville, TN – Live music, games, great food and of course fireworks were the highlight of the City of Clarksville’s eighth annual Independence Day Celebration at Liberty Park held Friday, July 3rd, 2015.
“Tonight is our July 3rd Independence Day celebration,” stated Clarksville Parks and Recreation Special Events Supervisor Jessica Goldberg. “We have great music and lots of food. It’s just a great family event.”

Clarksville, TN – City of Clarksville will celebrate our nation’s independence this year with the eighth annual Independence Day Celebration on Friday, July 3rd, 2015 at Liberty Park. The event is free and open to the public.
Activities and music will begin at 6:30pm. Seating is available throughout the park and the concerts will take place on the Great Lawn of the Wilma Rudolph Event Center. Concessions are for sale throughout the park.

Unique Fireworks Show Celebrates 7th Anniversary
Clarksville, TN – Once again, The Lodge Sports Pub and Governor’s Square Mall have teamed up with Fuse Fireworks to bring a free fireworks display to Clarksville on Saturday June 13th, 2015.
This will be the 7th year for June Boom Over Clarksville. Despite recent changes at The Lodge, business owner Frank Caldwell wanted to keep the event alive by continuing to host June Boom at the same location.

Fort Campbell, KY – Fort Campbell and the surrounding communities came together to celebrate the 4th of July, Independence Day with a bang at Fort Campbell’s USAA and MWR’s (Morale, Welfare and Recreation) Independence Day Carnival and Fireworks display.
“This is what we’re here for we’re here to celebrate the birth of our nation, our soldiers and their families , and our civilians workers. They give so much to us and this is our way of giving back to them especially today on our nation’s birthday,” said Rayna Holly from the Fort Campbell Public Affiars Office.

Clarksville, TN – On Thursday, July 3rd, thousands of Clarksvillians made their way to Liberty Park for the City of Clarksville’s seventh annual Independence Day Celebration. Attendees enjoyed live music, drinks, and food such as funnel cakes, hotdogs, and other festival favorites.
The evening got started with the presentation of the colors and Staff Sergeant Scott Letourneau of the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment singing the National Anthem. Musical entertainment was provided by local performers Eight O’Five Jive and the 101st Airborne Division rock band Cover Down. “This is great!,” said Staff Sgt. Aaron Fast, the band leader when I asked him what he thought about the turn out. “We love coming out and playing for the public. There are thousands of people out here, and it’s really really cool. We play for soldiers all the time but it’s great to get out in the public and have a chance to play for a community that shows their support for Fort Campbell and the soldiers like Clarksville does.”
