Downtown Commons
Montgomery County, TN – Montgomery County is thrilled to announce the opening of the Downtown Commons Winter Ice Rink on November 23rd, 2018! This is the second consecutive year for the outdoor rink, which will be significantly larger than it was last year.
During most of the year, the Downtown Commons is a large open lawn, but in late fall through early winter it is transformed into an ice rink. Although Downtown Commons was not complete when the ice rink opened last November, it was still very successful with more than 9,000 skaters and thousands of onlookers. This year, with the park completed and a larger rink, at least twice as many skaters are expected. Golly G’s will also be up and running ready to serve at Downtown Commons when the rink opens.
