Kleeman Community Center to Host Free Family Salsa Night

Registration is underway for this fun family camp out beginning at 2:00p. Saturday, September 19th, until 9:00am Sunday, September 20th, at the park located at 1930 East Boy Scout Road.

Activities will include a bonfire, games, and lots of fun!

Dunbar Cave State Park - Clarksville TNClarksville, TN – On Saturday, July 25th, from 3:00pm-5:00pm, come out to Dunbar Cave State Park for the annual Cooling at the Cave event. Join the Friends of Dunbar Cave in enjoying live music, games and refreshments at the cool cave entrance.

Prior to air conditioning being widely available, locals would gather at Dunbar Cave to enjoy the cool air gently blowing from the mouth of the cave. Many concerts were held there as people would fellowship and beat the heat of summer.

This however, is not the case in Clarksville where Parks and Recreation is joining forces with the Clarksville Police Department to bring forth “Bridging the Gap Week” as a part of the Mayor’s Summer Night Lights program on Monday, July 20th at the Kleeman Community Center and Wednesday, July 22nd at Summit Heights from 5:30pm to 9:00pm each night. Clarksville Association of REALTORS hosted 8th Annual F.U.E.L Block Party and Fundraiser

Clarksville Association of REALTORSClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Association of REALTORS hosted the 8th Annual F.U.E.L Block Party and Fundraiser. It was a community event coordinated by the Charity Relations Committee with the assistance of the Realtor and Affiliate Partner members of the Clarksville Association of REALTORS.

The Block Party was complete with silent auction, inflatables, live entertainment, games, vendors, and much more. Fresh from the grill hamburger and hot dog lunches were served with all proceeds going to the program.

Hilltop Supermarket’s “Karing for Kenai” Spring Festival a huge success

Hilltop SupermarketClarksville, TN – On Saturday, May 9th, Hilltop Supermarket held a Spring Festival event, “Karing for Kenai”. The event was a fundraiser for Kenai Payes Langley who was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.

Kenai is a beautiful 13 year-old-young lady who lives in Clarksville, TN, with her mother and older sister, Hailey. Kenai is battling Stage 3 Clear Cell Adenocarcinoma Cancer. She has 8 tumors in the surrounding areas of her reproductive system.

Hilltop Supermarket to host Spring Festival fundraiser for Kenai Langley

Hilltop SupermarketClarksville, TN – This Saturday, May 9th, Hilltop Supermarket is hosting “Karing for Kenai” Spring Festival. The Spring Festival is a fundraiser for 3-year old Kenai Payes Langley who was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.

There will be a yard sale from 7:00am until 3:00pm. Hilltop is still taking donations that can be dropped off at the store anytime.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – The annual Spring Eggstravanganza has been scheduled for April 4th at Heritage Park Sports Complex, located at 1241 Peachers Mill Road.

The fun kicks off at 1:00pm with free activities for children followed by the hunting of over 20,000 candy and prize-filled eggs.
