Clarksville, TN – The next meeting of the Clarksville (TN) Civil War Roundtable will be on Wednesday, February 20th, 2013 at the Bone & Joint Center, 980 Professional Park Drive, right across the street from Gateway Medical Center. This is just off Dunlop Lane and Holiday Drive and only a few minutes east of Governor’s Square mall. The meeting begins at 7:00 pm and is always open to the public. Lasaters Coffee and Tea expands to Cleveland Tennessee

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville’s only locally owned franchise, Lasaters Coffee and Tea, has announced the opening of it’s Cleveland Tennessee store.
This new franchise is owned by HAZ LLC and operated by Zack and Heather Gates. Zack Gates is a retired military veteran who has served in Afghanistan and was stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky prior to his retirement. He served at Fort Bragg D. Company 2-505 Parachute Infantry Regiment 82nd Airborne, and, Fort Campbell 101st Airborne Division 159th Aviation Brigade Pathfinder Company with a rank of Staff Sergeant.

Clarksville-Montgomery County Housing Market is amongst Nation’s Best

The National Association of Home Builders recently released an index of housing markets that are on the rise.
Washington, D.C. – The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) recently unveiled an index that tracks housing markets on the mend, the NAHB/First American Improving Markets Index (IMI). The IMI is intended to draw attention to the fact that housing markets are local and that there are metropolitan areas where economic recovery is underway.
The index measures three readily available monthly data series that are independently collected and are indicative of improving economic health. The three are employment, house prices and single family housing permit growth.
Clarksville Housing Market continues to be strong.
Gateway Medical Center receives Green Certification from Clarksville-Montgomery County

Montgomery County, TN – The latest industry to become Green Certified through the Clarksville-Montgomery County Green Certification Program is Gateway Medical Center, located at 651 Dunlop Lane. A Green Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was held on Thursday, June 14th to celebrate their successful initiatives and completion of the program.
