Clarksville Parks and Recreation announces additional Opportunities Available for Fright on Franklin, City’s Halloween Festival

Clarksville, TN – Fright on Franklin, the City’s annual Halloween festival will take place on Saturday, October 25th, in Downtown Clarksville from 3:00pm to 7:00pm. At this time, regular booth space for local businesses is filled and a waiting list has begun.
However, Clarksville Parks and Recreation has created additional opportunities for businesses still interested in participating.
Kleeman Community Center’s Haunted Maze offers prizes for the scariest volunteers

Clarksville New Providence Community Policing Center to hold Trunk-or-Treat Sunday, October 27th

Clarksville, TN – On Sunday, October 27th, the New Providence Community Policing Center is holding the Trunk-or-Treat Event starting at 2:00pm. Dress up in your costume and join them for candy and fun!
The event will be held at Byrns Darden Elementary School, at 609 East Street, in Clarksville.
Austin Peay State University’s popular Halloween concert returns for 29th year on October 29th

Clarksville, TN – At 6:00pm and 8:00pm on October 29th, the Austin Peay State University Department of Music will host a light-hearted, family-friendly concert about death.
“But we’re going to try and make death as fun as we can possibly make it,” David Steinquest, APSU professor of music, said.
This might sound a bit odd to those unfamiliar with the annual APSU Halloween Percussion Concert, but fans of the event know the theme will fit in nicely with the strange blend of music and mayhem that has come to define the wildly popular community event for the last 29 years.

2013 Mr and Miss Wags to Witches Pet Photo Contest

Clarksville, TN – In celebration of the Humane Society of Clarksville Montgomery County’s biggest event of the year, you are invited to submit your pet to compete for the coveted title of Mr. and Miss Wags to Witches 2013.
It is just $10.00 per entry. The top 10 photos will be featured in the 2014 Humane Society of Clarksville Montgomery County calendar.
All photo entries are placed on website for voting purposes. One dollar equals one vote.
