Clarksville’s Heritage Park Soccer Complex to host Kick It 3v3 Soccer July 28th-29th

Clarksville, TN – Kick It 3v3 Soccer is excited to be returning to the city of Clarksville, Tennessee for their Southeast Regional tournament taking place on July 28th-29th at the Heritage Park Soccer Complex.
Demonstrated to improve decisions skills, touches, speed of play and visions on the field, 3v3 soccer is a great way to learn the game of soccer or to hone your skills and this tournament has a division for just about anyone. [Read more]

Clarksville, TN – Join Clarksville Parks and Recreation at dusk on Saturday, June 16th at Heritage Park soccer fields for the viewing of “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe”- rated PG. Come early to save your spot and check out “move before the movies” before the movie featuring Tae Kwon Do basics.
Admission to the movie is free.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s Youth Recreation Leagues to kick off with Opening Ceremony this Saturday

Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department’s Youth Recreation Leagues will kick off the season with an opening ceremony at 10:00am June 2nd at Heritage Park.
The ceremony will feature Autumn Ferrier singing the National Anthem and the Clarksville Police Department Honor Guard, will present the colors. [Read more]

Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam Awards $120,000 Trails Program Grant to the City of Clarksville

Five Additional Recreational Trails Program Grants Announced
Nashville, TN – Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam and Environment and Conservation Commissioner Bob Martineau today awarded an additional $547,000 in grants for recreational trail projects across Tennessee. $120,000 was awarded to the City of Clarksville to connect Mary’s Oak Trail Head and the 101st Pedestrian Bridge through Heritage Park.
“These grants help local governments and organizations improve amenities such as trails, greenways and recreational facilities that contribute so much to a better community and quality of life,” Haslam said. “The grants will help make Tennessee’s incredible natural beauty and outdoors more accessible to Tennesseans.” [Read more]
