Clarksville, TN – At the weekly meeting of the Kiwanis Club of Clarksville on Tuesday, September 26th, 2017 annual awards were presented and new officers were installed by the TN-KY District Division 14 Lt. Governor C. David Elliot.

Clarksville Kiwanis Club Rodeo continues tonight

Clarksville, TN – The Downtown Kiwanis Club is currently hosting its 26th annual Kiwanis Rodeo and the festivities continue tonight at the Montgomery County 4-H Arena located at 1924 Rossview Road. The Rodeo opened last night to a sell out crowd. Tonight the gates open at 6:00pm and the Rodeo starts at 8:00pm. The Kiwanis Rodeo has been sanctioned by the PRCA and WPRA.
Events include calf roping, steer wrestling, barrel racing, team roping, breakaway roping, saddle bronc riding, bareback riding, and bull riding and more. There are also various contests, games, and a kids zone with inflatables.

Clarksville, TN – The Downtown Kiwanis Club is hosting its annual Kiwanis Rodeo at the Montgomery County 4-H Arena Friday, May 31st and Saturday, June 1st.
The gates open at 6:00pm and the Rodeo starts at 8:00pm both nights. This is a PRCA and WPRA sanctioned Rodeo.
Montgomery County Spelling Bee February 11th

Montgomery County, TN – The Montgomery County Spelling Bee is February 11th at 6:00pm at the Customs House Museum and Cultural Center. Bee sponsors are the Kiwanis Club of Clarksville and Cumberland Bank and Trust.
Bee participants represent local public and private schools in grades 6-8. The Customs House Museum is located in Downtown Clarksville at 200 South Second Street.

Kiwanis’s BBQ Cook-off
This Saturday the Downtown Market will be working with the Kiwanis Club of Clarksville’s BBQ Cook-Off. The market will run extended hours from 8:00am-4:00pm in the upper lot of the City Hall parking lot and on the street in front of Public Square.
There will be around 35 teams and over 40 judges. Judging will begin at noon with awards given at 4:00pm. There will be music Friday night featuring Les Ker and the Bayou Band. Saturday night’s entertainment will be The Beagles. There will also be a kid’s zone set up in the F&M Bank parking deck both nights.
There will be vendors set up with BBQ, ribs, chicken, brisket, hot dogs, and cookies for all to enjoy! [Read more]
3rd Annual Porkin’ in the Park, July 9th and 10th

The Kiwanis Club of Clarksville presents the 3nd annual Porkin’ in the Park. The event will be held down on Strawberry Alley July 9th and 10th. There will be food, drinks, live music and so much more. And let’s not forget the Barbeque. Admission is FREE to the public for both days.
Porkin’ in the Park is a Kansas City Barbeque Society sanctioned state championship barbeque cook-off hosted by Kiwanis Club of Clarksville. BBQ teams from around the region will be there competing for a Grand Champion prize of $1000. Prizes are also awarded to the top ten entries in each category – Chicken, Pork Ribs, Pork and Brisket.
