Clarksville Mayor announces reopening of Boat Ramp at Liberty Park

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan announces that that boat ramp at Liberty Park will be reopened for public use on Friday, March 29th, 2012, at noon.
“I know that a lot of people are anxious to use this ramp. The weather is beautiful and the water is inviting. As of noon Friday, the ramp will be open and ready for boaters to use,” Mayor McMillan said. “This is an important step as we ready Liberty Park and the Marina for use this summer.”
Clarksville Liberty Park Boat Ramp Access Closed for Construction

Clarksville, TN – Beginning immediately, Liberty Park Boat Ramp will be closed to the public. For some time, the boat ramp at Liberty Park has been open for public use, while the rest of the park has remained closed for ongoing construction.

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department would like to remind the public that because of continuing construction, Liberty Park remains closed.
The new four-lane boat ramp and two boat docks in the marina basin continue to be open on the regular weekend schedule, Fridays from 2:00pm to dusk, as well as on Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00am to 8:00pm. [Read more]
The Big Bass Fishing Tournament returns to Riverfest

Clarksville, TN – The Big Bass Fishing Tournament is returning to Riverfest this year.
After Fairgrounds Park was closed for construction, the tournament was put on hold. With the recent opening of the new Clarksville Marina boat ramps at Liberty Park, the tournament will return for it’s second year to benefit the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Foundation. [Read more]

Liberty Park Boat Ramp to open additional hours

Clarksville, TN – The new, four-lane boat ramp and two boat docks at Liberty Park will now be open longer. Beginning July 22nd, boaters will be able to access the ramps and docks on Friday afternoons from 2:00pm until dusk.
Liberty Park Boaters Urged to Exercise Caution

Clarksville, TN – As the Clarksville Parks & Recreation Department extends the hours of the new Liberty Park boating access this Fourth of July Weekend, patrons are urged to be cautious entering and exiting the park because of ongoing construction.

Liberty Park boat ramp to open additional days this holiday Weekend

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Parks & Recreation Department will open the Liberty Park boat ramp for an additional day this Fourth of July Weekend. The new, four-lane boat ramp and two boat docks will be open Friday, July 1th, through Monday, July 4th, from 7:00am to 8:00pm. However, because of Sunday’s Independence Day Celebration, the ramp will be open 7:00am to midnight to accommodate boaters.
Liberty Park Remains Closed for Construction, Boat Ramp, Dock Accessible on Weekends Only

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Parks & Recreation Department has opened a new, four-lane boat ramp and two boat docks at Liberty Park for weekend use only. The park area remains closed until its completion.
Because of continuing construction at the park, the ramps are only open from 7:00am to 8:00pm each Saturday and Sunday. Liberty Park Boat Ramp is closed to the public during weekdays. This is noted on a sign at the park entrance.
