Clarksville, TN – Three Clarksvillians will be honored this Tuesday, November 13th, 2018 by the Clarksville-Montgomery County Arts and Heritage Development Council for their achievements in art and in preserving our heritage.
Ceramicists Ken and Melody Shipley will receive the Lifetime Achievement in Art award, and Dr. Minoa Uffelman, Austin Peay State University history professor, will receive the Lifetime Achievement in Heritage award.
The awards ceremony will begin at 5:00pm at Emerald Hill on the Austin Peay campus.
Clarksville Transit System offers Free-Ride Food Drive

Clarksville, TN – In a holiday food program known as Basket of Thankfulness, Clarksville Transit System will offer free rides each Saturday in November to passengers who donate cans of food.
CTS will transfer the collected food to Manna Café Ministries, a local food charity, for distribution to people in need.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan invites Clarksville youths to join in a summer program filled with fun activities and free food designed to help them fight summertime boredom.
The sixth season of the Mayor’s Summer Night Lights program will kick off June 4th and continue at various locations throughout the summer with DJs, athletic competitions, arts and crafts, local music performances, and more.
Manna Café Ministries Mobile Pantry set for April 28th

Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, April 28th, 2018 the Manna Café Ministries will conduct a Mobile Pantry food giveaway in partnership with Radical Mission. The Mobile Pantry will be at First Church of the Nazarene at 150 Richview Road, Clarksville.
This event will begin at 10:00am. Anyone in the community needing assistance with groceries is welcome. One food box per household. A valid ID must be presented.

Taking place on Friday, April 27th, 2018 from 7:00pm–9:00pm at the Belle Hollow (2231 Madison Street), Grits & Gravy will include a buffet-style meal; a silent auction; guest speaker Michael Bayne of Greeneville, South Carolina; acoustic entertainment by Lydia Walker; and a big announcement from Manna Café.

This program strives to create a fun atmosphere that offers youth and teens a positive way to spend time during the summer. Each night features a healthy meal provided by a local food charity, a variety of activities including a DJ, sports tournaments, arts & crafts, inflatables, health and job information booths, motivational speakers, and special guests.

Clarksville, TN – From May 1st through May 14th, 2017 the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library will be accepting food donations in exchange for $1.00 of eligible fines for each item.
This year’s Food for Fines benefits Manna Café, a non-profit organization that feeds the hungry.

Cunningham, TN – On Tuesday, October 25th, 2016 the Montgomery Central High School Percussion Ensemble is presenting a family-friendly trunk-or-treat and fall concert. Admission to the event is two canned food items, which will be donated to the Manna Café.
The event will take place at Montgomery Central High School in the theater. Kids of all ages are encouraged to dress up in school appropriate costumes.
