Movies in the ParkClarksville, TN – The movies for the 2012 season of Movies in the Park have been selected with the first showing, “Hugo”, winner of 5 Oscars, announced via Facebook.

Clarksville Parks & Recreation is encouraging all the movie-goers out there to visit the “Clarksville Movies in the Park” Facebook page every day to guess the titles for this year’s showings. Hints and clues will be provided and the first one to guess correctly receives a free treat!

Friday’s Movies in the Park Cancelled, Rescheduled for October 15th

Movies in the Park

Clarksville, TN – Due to Kenwood High School’s Homecoming game and ceremony, the City of Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department has cancelled Friday night’s Movie in the Park at Heritage Park, “Transformers.”

The movie has been rescheduled to Saturday, October 15th, and will conclude the department’s series of free family Movies in the Park.

All information on Movies in the Park is available at www.parksafterdark.com or facebook.com/clarksvillemoviesinthepark. Movies in the Park are FREE and open to the public.

Movies in the ParkClarksville, TN – Join Clarksville Parks and Recreation this Saturday, September 17th, at Heritage Park Soccer Fields for this month’s Movies in the Park event, featuring the 2006 computer-animated comedy film, “Open Season”. It is rated PG.

The movie will begin around 7:15pm, with pre-show activities beginning an hour prior. Be sure to bring your picnic blankets and lawn chairs. As always, you are welcome to bring your picnic basket, but concessions will be available.

“Twilight” double-feature at Movies in the Park

Clarksville Parks and RecreationClarksville, TN – Join Clarksville Parks and Recreation this Friday, September 2nd, at Heritage Park Soccer Fields for this month’s Movies in the Park event, featuring a double screening of “New Moon” and “Eclipse” on a giant blow-up screen under the stars. Both are rated PG-13.

The first movie will begin around 7:30pm, with pre-show activities beginning an hour prior. Be sure to bring your picnic blankets and lawn chairs. As always, you are welcome to bring your picnic basket, but concessions will be available.
