Heritage Bank Awards $26,000 in Scholarships to Area Students

Clarksville, TN – Heritage Bank has awarded 52 students at 30 area schools $500.00 scholarships. The scholarships were made possible by the 8 year old Heritage Bank Scholarship Fund. Since founding the fund, the bank has awarded college scholarships totaling $170,000 to 340 students selected from the various communities that Heritage Bank serves. This scholarship fund is one of the largest efforts made to enhance the educational endeavors for students of Western Kentucky and Tennessee.
Clarksville Fox season opener vs Chattanooga Locomotion

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Fox host their first game of the season againest the Chattanooga Locomotion at 7:00pm Saturday April 2nd at Northwest High School, 800 Lafayette Road. Admission is only $8.00 for adults and kids 5 and under get in free. Gates open at 6:00pm.
The Clarksville Fox is a fully volunteer non-profit semi-pro organization.

Come out to the Northwest Football field and join in on the fun.
School Board Awards Point of Pride Recipients

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville-Montgomery County School Board recognized local recipients of awards from the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association. High Schools Director Rosalyn Evans noted that it was unprecedented for one school district to receive as many awards as CMCSS from TSSAA.

Are you a tough enough woman to play Full Contact Football, sick of being told you can’t play because you are a woman, do you want to prove the world and everyone who told you that you can’t play wrong? Now is your chance to do just that.
The Clarksville Fox is one of the best teams in the United States in Women’s Full Contact Football. The Fox just completed their 4th season, going to the National Championship twice in four years, and are looking to improve and add new aggressive women to join the team and bring the Fox to the next level.
Trenton Hassell to do coin toss at Clarksville Fox game

The Clarksville Fox semi-professional full contact women’s football team will be taking on the Lousiville Nightmare this Saturday, May 15th at 7:00 pm at Northwest High School (800 Lafayette Road).
Trenton Hassell of the NBA New Jersey Nets, APSU basketball star and Clarksville High School graduate, will perform the pre-game coin toss. Hassell will also be available for autographs.
The Clarksville Fox are semi-professional full contact women’s football team. The Fox season record is 4 – 1. Tickets are just $8.00 each and kids 5 and under are free. Full concessions are available and the gates open at 6:00 pm. The Fox players, coaches, staff, and the team mascot “Trixy” look forward to seeing you there.
Join the Fox and Xtreme Ministries in their Flood Relief effort. Donations of food, clothes, and money will be accepted at the game. All donations will go to help the Clarksville Flood Victims.
