Clarksville, TN – From toddlers to teens, entertaining the kids is a top priority for the Rivers And Spires Festival. And this year, the Festival will be full of swashbuckling fun as the 11th Annual Children’s Parade takes on a pirate theme.
Kids 12-years-old or younger and accompanying adults are encouraged to join in on the fun and enter the Parade’s themed contest by giving their floats and costumes a pirate flair.

The 2015 Rivers and Spires Festival is the playground for this fun pick-to-win game, sponsored by the Clarksville Civitan Club. All over the streets of Historic Downtown Clarksville, where the Festival will call itself home from April 16th-18th, yard signs will placed randomly with sponsor’s names and numbers.

Rivers and Spires Festival 2015 Miss River Queen and Teen Crowned

Clarksville, TN – Tanna Norman has been named Miss River Queen 2015, while Jasmine Gardner will reign as the new Miss River Teen. The new titleholders were crowned at the pageant held Saturday, April 4th at Austin Peay State University’s Clement Auditorium.
The pair will reign over the Rivers and Spires Festival in Historic Downtown Clarksville, April 16th-18th, making numerous appearances, signing autographs and participating in Festival events.
Miss River Queen, Teen Will Be Crowned This Weekend

Clarksville, TN – The search is on for this year’s Miss River Queen and River Teen. The annual pageant will be held April 4th, 2015 in Clement Auditorium on the campus of Austin Peay State University.
The pageant begins at 7:00pm and doors open at 6:30pm. Tickets are $10.00 per person and may be purchased at the door. The event is open to the public.
Rivers and Spires announces new Friday Night Headliner for 2015 Festival

Clarksville, TN – Rivers and Spires officials are excited to announce country act Love and Theft will headline this year’s festival. The duo with their latest chart – climbing single, “Whiskey On My Breath” is set to perform at 9:00pm Friday, April 17th, at the public square stage.
Love and Theft, comprised of Stephen Barker Liles and Eric Gunderson, have three widely acclaimed albums and numerous hits. This year they received their third consecutive Vocal Duo Of The Year nomination at the CMA Awards.

Clarksville, TN – The Rivers And Spires Festival, brought to you by Coors Light and Agero, is pleased to announce Grammy award-winning and multi-platinum selling country music superstar, Ronnie Milsap, will take the Public Square Stage on Friday, April 17th. The concert is free and open to the public.
One of the biggest and most sought-after country music artists of the 70s and 80s, Milsap will perform some of his biggest hits that have made him a legend. Songs such as “Smoky Mountain Rain”, “(There’s) No Gettin’ Over Me”, “I Wouldn’t Have Missed It for the World”, “Any Day Now” and “Stranger in My House” will make up a concert you don’t want to miss.
American Bus Association names Rivers and Spires one of North America’s 100 Best Events for 2015

Clarksville, TN – The American Bus Association (ABA) recently announced that the Rivers And Spires Festival, April 16th-18th, 2015, has been designated as one of the Top 100 Events in North America for 2015. This will mark the third time the Festival has received this award.
Inclusion in the Top 100 list, published as a supplement to the September/October issue of Destinations magazine, indicates that Rivers And Spires offers excellent entertainment value to both tour groups and individual travelers from around the world, according to ABA.
Jon Royce Band to headline Miller Lite Stage Friday night at Riverfest

Clarksville, TN – On Friday, the Jon Royce band will be headlining the Riverfest Festival this weekend on the Miller Lite Stage starting at 10:00pm. I was fortunate to get a moment to sit down with Jon Royce and Mark Alan from the band to talk about the band, and their up coming show.
With a clear crisp sound that blends a fusion of country, rock, and pop the band’s music has something for everyone. Strong vocals driven by a powerful beat with honest straightforward lyrics the Jon Royce Band can’t help but to stir the crowd in to a frenzy.
2014 Rivers and Spires Festival Attendance Tops 41,000

Clarksville, TN – It was a record setting year for Clarksville’s 2014 Rivers and Spires, as the streets of Historic Downtown Clarksville saw over 41,000 Festival attendees over the April 24th-26th weekend.
Festival organizers say that this year’s event was the second largest Rivers and Spires to date, falling right behind the 2010 Festival.
