Clarksville’s Native American Cultural Circle to host 19th Annual Intertribal Powwow at Port Royal

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Native Cultural Circle is proud to present the 19th Annual Intertribal Powwow and 10th Annual Trail of Tears Memorial Walk! All drums and the public are welcome!
The Intertribal Powwow will be held October 8th and 9th on the Powwow grounds located just outside of Port Royal State Park in Adams, TN.
Manna Café Ministries “Manna Madness” is going on now

Clarksville, TN – Manna Café Ministries announces Manna Madness, a 31-day event to raise awareness about and take action against hunger in the Clarksville area. The past few weeks have caused many Montgomery County workplaces to close, and, as a result, people have less money to put food on the table.
For the entire month of March, Manna Café will be collecting food and monetary donations to ensure we have enough food on our shelves to meet the needs in our community.
14th Annual Montgomery County Antique Tractor and Engine Show coming September 26th-27th, 2014

Clarksville, TN – On September 26th-27th, 2014, the Montgomery County Antique Tractor and Engine Club will hold the 14th Annual Montgomery County Antique Tractor and Engine Show at the 4-H Club Grounds. Admission to the event is free.
Although open to the general public, Friday, September 26th, is designated as “Kid’s Day.” Teachers (and parents) bring children from local and surrounding county and private schools to learn about life on the farm as it was many years ago.
Budweiser Clydesdales in Clarksville for Christmas Parade

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Christmas Parade will be bigger and better this year, because joining the local festivities will be the famous Budweiser Clydesdales.
Charles Hand and Budweiser of Clarksville arranged for the visit to Clarksville, and there will be several opportunities for the public to view the magnificent horses.
Clarksville Kiwanis Club Rodeo continues tonight

Clarksville, TN – The Downtown Kiwanis Club is currently hosting its 26th annual Kiwanis Rodeo and the festivities continue tonight at the Montgomery County 4-H Arena located at 1924 Rossview Road. The Rodeo opened last night to a sell out crowd. Tonight the gates open at 6:00pm and the Rodeo starts at 8:00pm. The Kiwanis Rodeo has been sanctioned by the PRCA and WPRA.
Events include calf roping, steer wrestling, barrel racing, team roping, breakaway roping, saddle bronc riding, bareback riding, and bull riding and more. There are also various contests, games, and a kids zone with inflatables.

Montgomery County, TN – The Montgomery County Agriculture Extension Service will host a 4-H Fair at the 4-H Arena on August 2nd-4th. Participants from the local 4-H chapter, as well as surrounding counties, will participate in the fair.
