Pet Photos with Santa this afternoon

Governors Square MallClarksville, TN – On Sunday, November 25th from 6:00pm-8:00pm bring your pets to Governor’s Square Mall for photos with Santa! Don’t worry about the crowds because photos will take place after the mall is closed.

Enter through the main doors. Pet photos will take place at Santa’s Set located in Center Court.

Governor’s Square Mall is located at 2801 Wilma Rudolph Boulevard, Clarksville, TN.

Santa’s Arrival To Include Story Time With Santa, A Visit From Mouse (If You Give A Mouse A Cookie) And Children’s Activities

Governors Square MallClarksville, TN – Santa Claus will be arriving at Governor’s Square Mall this Saturday, November 17th. At 10:00am, Santa will be arriving at Center Court on the Apple Express train. He will be joined by Mouse (If You Give a Mouse a Cookie) and the Great American Cookies mascot.

Santa will be reading a holiday story and there will be children’s activities from 10:00am-12:00pm. The activities will include a paper ornament decorating station, where children can decorate an ornament that will be displayed on our community board for the season. [Read more]

Christmas on the Cumberland is open nightly from 5:00pm-10:00pm, Sunday through Thursday and 5:00pm-11:00pm, Fridays and Saturdays through January 5th, 2013.

Entries now being accepted for the 53rd Annual Christmas Parade

Clarksville Parks and RecreationClarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville and Montgomery County Government have partnered with Agero to host the 53rd Annual Christmas Parade.

The parade will be a night-time, lighted Christmas parade and is scheduled for December 1st, 2012 beginning at 5:00pm.

This year’s parade will feature both the Austin Peay State University Governors Own Marching Band and the Tennessee State University Band, dozens of businesses and organizations, as well as Santa Claus.

Santa will not be at Christmas on the Cumberland Tonight

Christmas on the CumberlandClarksville, TN – Due to the number of good children in the area, Santa had to leave early for the North Pole to ready for his big night and will not be at the Riverwalk this evening for photos.

Christmas on the Cumberland is open nightly from 5:00pm-10:00pm Sunday through Thursday,and from 5:00pm-11:00pm on Fridays and Saturdays through January 1st, 2012. Admission to the event is free.

Bring the family down tonight for a walk through the holiday display that features over 1,000,000 individual Lights and spans the entire length of McGregor Park in Downtown Clarksville.

LEAP OrganizationClarksville, TN – Tuesday, December 13th, the Kleeman Community Center was filled with hopeful children awaiting Santa Claus to grace them with an early appearance.

The program was organized by Kleeman Community Center Director Tonya Wacker, who had this to say, “It’s unfortunate for some members of our community that this will be the only taste of Christmas they will be able to experience. My desire is to spread hope and holiday cheer to uplift their spirits.”

Clarksville’s holds 5th Annual Downtown for the Holidays

Clarksville, TN – In what has become a Christmas Tradition, the City of Clarksville held their annual Downtown for the Holiday event on Saturday.

The event kicked off with the Jingle Bell Jog 5K Road Race in the morning, followed that afternoon by Christmas Caroling on the steps of the Montgomery County Court House along with free hot chocolate for the kids. The evening closed out with the 5th Annual Lighted Christmas Parade.
