Local Foundry Casts Replica Cannon for Clarksville Rotary’s 100th Anniversary

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Foundry is one of the oldest continuously operating foundries in the United States. The foundry’s origins predate the Civil War, having first opened in 1847.
While the family owned and operated foundry today casts component parts for a variety of industries, it once manufactured cannons and munitions for the Confederate States of America (1861-1862).

Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville is proud to announce the grand opening of the city’s first all-inclusive splash pad and playground at Heritage Park, located at 1241 Peachers Mill Road.
The grand opening will take place Thursday, May 26th at 10:00am at the park.

Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville and the presidents of the Sunrise Rotary Club, the Noon Rotary Club and the Sunset Rotary Club signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the construction of a new splash pad and playground areas in Heritage Park.
