“The Princess Bride” is scheduled to begin around 7:20pm, followed by “The Goonies” around 9:00pm. Both movies are rated PG.

Clarksville, TN – Join Clarksville Parks and Recreation Saturday, August 18th, 2012 at Heritage Park Soccer fields for this month’s Movies in the Park event, featuring the 2010 American science fiction and action film – “Inception”- rated PG-13. Parental supervision is strongly recommended due to language and sexual content.
Inception is a 2010 American science fiction/action heist film written, co-produced, and directed by Christopher Nolan. The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Ken Watanabe, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Ellen Page, Tom Hardy, Dileep Rao, Cillian Murphy, Tom Berenger, and Michael Caine.

Clarksville, TN – Due to inclement weather Saturday, August 4th, 2012, the Movies in the Park showing of “Ratatouille”, was cancelled. The showing has been rescheduled for this Saturday, August 11th, 2012 at the Heritage Park Soccer fields. “Ratatouille” is a 2007 computer-animated film that is rated G.
“Ratatouille” is about Remy a young rat in the French countryside who arrives in Paris, only to find out that his cooking idol is dead. When he makes an unusual alliance with a restaurant’s new garbage boy, the culinary and personal adventures begin despite Remy’s family’s skepticism and the rat-hating world of humans.
The 2012 Riverfest Festival to be held on September 7th and 8th

Clarksville, TN – Join the City of Clarksville, Budweiser, and Agero along the banks of the Cumberland River as they celebrate Clarksville’s river heritage at the 25th annual Riverfest Celebration, September 7th and 8th, 2012. This FREE, two day music and arts festival features four stages of a variety of local, regional and nationally-known entertainers, delicious food, and fun for the entire family.
The music kicks off Friday night at 5:00pm with a great lineup of Christian performers on the Mary’s the Music Store Stage to include MIKESCHAIR who will perform at 9:00pm. Clarksville Celebrates Independence Day at McGregor Park

Clarksville, TN – Well over 20,000 people jammed the banks of the Cumberland River as the City of Clarksville held their annual Independence Day Celebration last night. This celebration of patriotism is one of the most popular events hosted by the city each year.
