This free event will begin at 10:00am.

City of Clarksville set to construct Pedestrian Bridge over Red River

Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville has announced that it will complete a 10-mile hiking and biking trail linking the City’s downtown riverfront with Northeast Clarksville.
The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) has announced Clarksville will receive a $1.82 million federal Transportation Alternatives Project grant for construction of a pedestrian bridge over the Red River.
Manna Café Ministries to hold Manna Madness in March

Manna Madness will have food drives at select grocery stores each weekend of March.
The goal is to raise over 28,000 pounds of food and over $5,000.

New section of Clarksville Greenway opens

The new section begins approximately 2.5 miles from the Pollard Road Trailhead and continues to the rail bridge abutment beside the Red River.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Transit System’s Spooky Special will be back for another two-day Spooky Tour this week.
The Halloween-adorned bus will run the streets of Clarksville, offering free rides on Tuesday, October 30th and Wednesday, October 31st.
The Spooky Special, or the Spooky Bus as some call it, is a Clarksville Transit System Halloween tradition that started 29 years ago to help residents get acquainted with the transportation service and to thank consistent passengers.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation will hold a public meeting from 1:00pm-3:00pm Tuesday, October 2nd, 2018 on the Red River Trail with a three-fold purpose.
The meeting will begin with a ribbon cutting for Phase 1 of the Red River Trail, the newest section of trail beginning at the North Extension of the Riverwalk at McGregor Park to the Providence Boulevard overpass, adding approximately a quarter-mile of trail.

Montgomery County, TN – The Griffis Team of Exit Realty Screamin’ Eagle is the latest organization to join the Clarksville-Montgomery County Green Certification Program (CMCGCP).
A green ribbon cutting was held in their honor on the morning of Tuesday, August 21st, 2018. City of Clarksville Chief of Staff Heather Fleming, CMCGCP Steering Committee member Rose Melton (Altra Federal Credit Union), CMCGCP Steering Committee member Bill Harpel (City of Clarksville), and CMCGCP Manager Carlye Sommers attended the ceremony.
